SMALL WIND
Wind has been the worlds fastest growing renewable energy source for the last 7 years and this trend is expected to continue with falling costs of wind energy and the urgent international need to tackle CO2 emissions to prevent climate change.
CES is now pleased to announce the UK launch of the latest wind product from Aerovironment (AV) – the Architectural Wind turbine. Architectural Wind provides an attractive, clean energy generating technology for commercial use.
AeroVironment has created a wind turbine system for urban and suburban communities by making it small and quiet and by eliminating the need for a tower. Architectural Wind is the next step in the evolution of wind power.
SOLAR ELECTRIC
Solar PV (photovoltaic) uses energy from the sun to create electricity to run appliances and lighting. PV requires only daylight, not direct sunlight to generate electricity and so can still generate some power on a cloudy day.
CES is the approved UK distributor and installer of the SolarDock mounting system for photovoltaic (PV) arrays. The patented, flat-roof mounting frames offer an exclusive non-penetrating roof installation method, eliminating the possibility of leaks and cancellation of roof warranties. This method also dramatically reduces installation time resulting in lower overall system costs. Holding modules in place at a 25-degree angle, the SolarDock increases annual system output by up to 15% when compared to a flat-mount system.
BIOMASS / WOOD PELLET BOILERS
Wood pellets are a clean, organic product manufactured using the by-products of sawmills and other mechanical wood processing plants. The manufacture of pellets therefore does not reduce the forest resources as such, but helps to further increase the utility ratio of the processed wood.
CES supply and install Biomass Wood Pellet Boilers from Finnish manufacturer Laatukattila Oy. Laatukattila has been manufacturing heating boilers for solid fuels since 1953 and their boilers are used extensively in Finland and throughout Northern Europe.
INTELLIGENT FAST-CHARGING SYSTEMS
Fast-charge battery systems are the new standard for powering material-handling equipment in the automotive, warehousing and distribution industries.
CES provides the comprehensive line-up of PosiCharge battery fast-charge systems in the UK. Offering significant productivity enhancements, PosiCharge fast charge systems maximize operator uptime and throughput by eliminating the need for complicated charge schedules.
Environmentally and financially responsible, the PosiCharge solution has helped its Fortune 500 customers to save 18% in energy consumption and up to 70% in capital and operating expenses.
